Frequently Asked Questions

  • When can I bring items in for consignment?

    Items can be dropped off at the store during regular business hours – Tuesday through Friday 11am-6pm, and Saturday 11am – 4pm. No appointment required! 

  • What condition should my clothes be in when I drop them off?

    Items must be clean, freshly laundered, and free from stains, odor, pet hair, holes and signs of excessive wear and tear. 

  • What if I drop off items that need to be laundered?

    Any items excessively soiled will not be accepted.  If stains are found or pet hair needs to be removed, I will launder the item and your account will be charged $2 per item.

  • What if some of my items aren’t accepted?

    You will receive an email notifying you if any items are not chosen for consignment. These will be available for you to pick up. Items not picked up within two weeks of being contacted will be donated.  

  • What brands of clothing are/are not accepted?

    Some of the brands I accept: Lululemon, Athleta, Patagonia, Stio, The North Face, Prana, Carve Designs, Kuhl, Sweaty Betty, Toad & Co., Title 9, Columbia, Pistil, Alo, Spiritual Gangster, Zyia, Sorel, Rothy’s, Chaco, Birkenstock, Hoka One One, Dansko, Brooks, Asics, Saucony (*shoes must be in like-new condition)


    Some brands I do not take: Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Reebok, Calia, Fabletics, Gym Shark, Gap Fit, Old Navy, Champion, Marika. I also do not take items from sports teams or colleges/universities.

  • Are there times of year you don’t take certain items?

    Yes! Winter items are accepted Sep-Feb - Summer items are accepted March-Aug (Workout gear such as leggings, tanks and running shorts is accepted year-round)

  • Do you carry more than Athletic clothing?

    Yes! You will find a great selection of dresses & skirts, casual tops & bottoms, shoes & sandals, hats, sunglasses, hydration packs, backpacks & duffels, purses, and even some fabulous earrings! Athletic Attic also carries men’s and children’s clothing.

  • How long will my items be available for sale?

    Consignment items will be kept in your name for 3 months from the date originally offered for sale. Unsold items may be picked up at the end of the consignment period. After 3 months, any unsold items become the property of Athletic Attic. If left at the store, Athletic Attic may discount or donate these expired items without further responsibility to the consignor.  Consignors will not be notified at the end of the consignment period. 

  • Can I check on my account online?

    Yes! Go to athelticatticboise.com and click on the CONSIGNOR LOGIN button. The email address provided to Athletic Attic is your default password. 

  • I logged into my consignor account and the page was blank. What does that mean?

    If nothing is showing on your consignor page online, that means nothing has sold yet. Once an item sells, it will be listed along with the amount of credit you have earned. 

  • How much do I earn for items Athletic Attic sells for me?

    After items sell, consignors have the option to receive 40% cash credit of the actual sale price or receive an additional 10% if used as store credit. 

  • How do I get paid?

    Stop by during regular business hours and I’ll cut you a check! Consignors may have checks mailed at their request for a $1 fee. 

  • How long do I have to cash out?

    Credits left on consignor accounts for over one year are considering inactive and will be removed.

  • What is the best way to get in touch with Athletic Attic?
